In the past, I’ve paired these navy high-waisted shorts from Intermix with my black over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman boots and I loved the look so much that I recreated it here, with a chic, yet inexpensive poncho with the grey version of the over-the-knee boots this time.

Ponchos can be a little unflattering sometimes, especially when they are worn with a less fitted bottom. However, pairing a poncho, like this one from American Eagle, with more fitted pieces or showing a bit of leg like I did here, can make all the difference. Underneath, I have on a white tie blouse by Elizabeth & James, which adds a bit of fun to this look. I am so looking forward to styling more ponchos this season!

I just recently purchased the Fendi sunglasses I’m wearing here and I just cannot stop wearing them! They fit my face shape well and I love the light pink details on the arms.
